ESTABLISHMENT OF CORPORATION
Himachal Backward Classes Finance & Development Corporation (HBCFDC), a Government of Himachal Pradesh undertaking functioning under the aegis of the Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, was established on 31st January, 1994 under Section 25 of the Companies Act, 1956 with an authorized share capital of ₹10 Crores.
The Corporation is committed to the social, economic, and educational empowerment of individuals belonging to the Backward Classes of Himachal Pradesh. Its primary objective is to uplift and strengthen economically weaker sections by providing financial assistance, self-employment opportunities, skill development support, and welfare-oriented schemes aimed at improving their standard of living and promoting sustainable growth.
